Global Eats is a locally anticipated annual international culinary fundraiser that was started by Dorcas International in 2018. As the largest non-profit agency working to empower immigrants and refugees for almost 100 years, Dorcas International created this fundraiser to support its work and to honor the vibrancy of Rhode Island’s diverse community.

This new food-centric community event features renowned local chefs who recreate family dishes from Dorcas International’s Global Cookbook, filled with invaluable family recipes shared by those it serves. These Global dishes, from countries such as Guatemala, Eritrea, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Portugal, enable you to discover amazing flavors from around the world from right here in RI. In May 2018, the event took place at Fete Music and attracted 500+ guests!
